Taking inspiration from her favorite vocalists such as Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly, and Alicia Keys, River delivers soulful, charismatic performances of original music and cover songs. Her setlist spans emotive top 40 hits, modern R&B, and a few choice classics. She performs as a solo artist with a vocal synthesizer; utilizing fun effects and harmonies to create the perfect soundscape for her powerhouse vocals. River Iris’s intricately crafted indie-pop draws from her eclectic tastes and international upbringing to create a sound that transcends cultures and genres. After studying Fine Arts at UC Berkley, she spent her formative years backpacking across Europe and Asia, developing her confessional storytelling style while learning to appreciate humanity's interconnectedness. She went on to settle in Phoenix with her husband, where she continues to evolve as both an artist and individual, writing songs that are empathic, clever, and bursting with life
